- Ensures excellent guest service that exceeds expectations
- Ensures the restaurant is properly staffed to meet guest needs
- Enforces sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of all areas
- Conducts interviewing, hiring, and ensuring all employees receive proper training
- Inspires team members to ensure that excellent guest service is consistently delivered
- Develops team members through training, motivation, and mentorship
- Appraises performance; rewards, coaches and disciplines employees as needed
- Reads and understands Employee Handbook, and all other company policies
- Educates team members on safe work behaviors and maintains an environment that is safe for both guests and team members
- Ensures staff is Food Handler certified within 30 days of hire
- Supports execution of innovative and creative ideas that drive incremental sales and growth
- Supports the company’s strategic plan including forecasting, budget management, profit and loss accountability, cost control and inventories
- Operates the business in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- Upholds standards, product quality and cleanliness
- Enhances guest experience including food and drink promotions, and customer service initiatives
- Ensures administrative duties are completed accurately and on time
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as salaried manager in a fine dining establishment
- Excellent wine knowledge
- Demonstrated leadership skills including coaching, directing, and motivating a team
- Food Manager Certification
